I MADE THESE BECAUSE I SAW THE QUALITY OF THE ORIGINALS AND THOUGHT THAT THEY COULD USE SOME IMPROVEMENT. MADE BETTER THAN THE ORIGINALS, THEY TAKE INTO ACCOUNT THE MISALIGNMENT OF THE FACTORY HAND DRILLED SCREW HOLE AND DOWEL PIN LOCATOR. MADE IN THE U.S.A. BY ME IN MY HOME MACHINE SHOP. EACH SET INCLUDES (2) FRONT LAMINATED SHIMS AND (2) REAR LAMINATED SHIMSImportant Note: Oddly South bend went through several dowel pin sizes. And locations for the pins were often drilled by hand. I discovered that a hole which accommodated all of the possible locations would have been too large (thus diminishing the footprint of the shim) after I took a survey of several machines. In saying this, my locations and sizes are "by design" so as to meet the greatest need while weighing functionality. To correct any possible dowel pin deviations with your shims I would suggest marking the area that needs to be fitted with a felt tip pen and using a small fine round file or dremel tool. Do not force shims over dowel pins. Thank you
