BEWARE OF A COPYCAT FROM TURKEY WHO IS MAKING A KNOCK OFF OF THESE OUT OF ALUMINUM: BAD IDEA FOLKS, THINK ABOUT IT: THE GRIT WEARS AN ALUMINUM HINGE OUT REAL QUICK, ALSO THE TRACKING BOLT WEARS A HOLE IN NO TIME. HE ALSO USES METRIC FASTENERS, WHICH MEANS YOU'RE STUCK WITH USING HIS WEIRD ID BEARINGS (THE AXLE MOUNT IS TAPPED M10, WHERE DOES HE EXPECT YOU TO FIND A TRACKING WHEEL IN THE US WITH BEARINGS THAT WOULD WORK THERE, HMMM?) THIS IS THE SAME PROVEN DESIGN WE USE ON OUR HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL GRINDERS THOUSANDS HAVE BEEN USED IN OTHER CUSTOM BUILDSWe include a grade 8 half inch bolt as an axle, with 2 nylon spacers, 1 half inch washer & 1 half inch jam nut. We also supply a SOLID STEEL swivel mount which is manufactured from a block of steel measuring 2" long by 1/2" thick by 1-1/2" wide. The offset hole through the side is 1/4" diameter. We also supply a U-shaped bracket which holds the swivel mount & include the 3 bolt which hold these together. Two slots allow the use of 1/4" bolts & variety of fixing positions. Use this assembly on your DIY grinder to accurately track a grinding/sanding belt.
